Taking care of young trees

It is an obvious knowledge, but you need trees to have a decent park. And you cannot plant them without a certain protection – parks are swarming with people, cyclists and animals and every single person can damage a young tree. That’s why tree protectors were invented. They serve a couple of purposes – first of all of course, they secure the tree in such a way that people and animals cannot break it. Secondly, due to their construction, they keep the tree straight and help it recover even from the strongest gushes of wind. Until the tree is strong enough to withstand the environmental damage and people’s activity, tree protector is necessary – without it, you will have a large patch of grass without any shade.

So, when you consider a park redesign or are submitting your ideas about park additions to the government, aside from obvious amenities like lavatories, water supply, bike stands and picnic areas do not forget about tree protectors if you wish to have more trees in the park nearby.
